My story

Matt Rogers: storyteller, explorer, educator, technologist

I work at the collision of storytelling, technology, and exploration. Through images, words, and well-organized systems, I help people make sense of the world. That might mean producing a conservation documentary, guiding a diving expedition, or writing a user manual that doesn’t make your eyes glaze over.

At the heart of it, I connect people to the information they need—for clarity and impact, and sometimes just to spark a little awe.

It’s all a journey

I’ve always had a knack for finding the world’s hidden corners—and getting thoroughly lost in them. My love for exploration has taken me to over 90 countries, where I’ve recognized that every place has a story to tell, and every person has a voice worth hearing (even if it’s just giving me directions).

From making documentaries in Uganda to navigating Kyrgyzstan’s rural roads, I’ve seen how storytelling, design, and technology can bring people closer and spark positive change. These experiences led me into public interest technology, where I combine curiosity, creativity, and a bit of chaos to make the world a little more connected.

Key Experiences

I’ve had the privilege of working with mission-driven organizations that care about things like education, human rights, and conservation. At THINK Global School, I led efforts to redesign our showcase events, helping connect students’ learning with communities around the world. My career has spanned projects in youth development, religious liberty, and digital portfolio design, where I’ve merged systems thinking with creative problem-solving. These experiences have honed my ability to bring diverse teams together and tackle tricky challenges with a smile.

My mission is to connect people to the information they need through stories and experiences that deepen understanding and spark curiosity. Whether it’s through conservation photography or educational program design, I’m here to craft systems and stories that empower people and communities to grow, learn, and thrive.
